IR35 Rate is a UK-built calculator providing inside vs outside IR35 day rate calculations for UK contractors. The site does not provide tax advice.

IR35 Rate is a trading name of ASK Business Consultancy Limited. All references to "we", "us", and "our" in this Privacy Policy refer to ASK Business Consultancy Limited.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the site and improve it:

• Analytics data: anonymised information about how you use the site (pages viewed, time on site, device type, approximate location), via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use this to identify individuals.
• Email address: only if you voluntarily provide it via the PDF download form. We use this to send you the PDF you requested and, occasionally, related calculator updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Calculator inputs: your day rate and other inputs are calculated entirely in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or log them.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies: required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: help us understand how the site is used. You can opt out at any time.
• Advertising cookies: if and when we run ads via Google AdSense or Ezoic, those services may set cookies for ad personalisation. You can manage this in your browser settings or via Google's Ad Settings.

4. Third Parties

We may share limited information with the following third parties:

• Affiliate partners: when you click an affiliate link (for example, to a contractor accountant), that partner may set their own cookies to track that the click originated from our site. We may receive a commission. This never affects your calculator results.
• Analytics providers: receive anonymised usage data.

We never sell your personal data.

We keep email addresses until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Affiliate click data is retained as needed for commission tracking, typically up to 90 days.
